Let’s talk about your vision

Reading, screens, driving — what has changed?

You might be holding your phone farther away, finding road signs harder to read or feeling uncomfortable after a day at your computer. Tell us what you have noticed, when it started and how it affects your day.

You can also book a routine visit without a specific concern. An eye examination considers both how you see and the health of your eyes.

Sudden vision changes? Sudden loss of vision or severe eye pain needs urgent assessment. Seek immediate care; do not wait for a response to an online appointment request.

Ask about the cost before your visit

Contact us for the current fee for the appointment you need. Ask what the examination includes and whether any additional testing or contact lens services would have a separate charge.

Using your insurance benefits

  • Adults aged 65 and older without an eligible eye-related condition: one major eye exam every 18 months. Different eligibility can apply with qualifying conditions.

Newmarket eye exam FAQs

How do I book an eye exam at Moon Optik?

Can I book an appointment for my child?

Ask your optometrist for an interval based on your age, eye health, symptoms and medical history. A new concern may need attention before your next routine appointment.
